Skills That Build
Futures & Families
Equipping women and youth in Mpigi District with practical, marketable skills that create economic independence and build stronger communities.
Ending Poverty, One Skill at a Time
Household poverty is the most fundamental root cause of child vulnerability. When a parent cannot afford school fees, food, or medicine, their children suffer. Our Vocation Training program directly attacks this root cause by equipping women and out-of-school youth with skills that generate real, sustainable income.
Our graduates don't just find jobs — many go on to create their own businesses and employ others, multiplying the impact of every skill we teach throughout the community.
What We Teach
Each discipline is chosen for its direct applicability in the local Mpigi District economy and its ability to generate sustainable income.

Partner With Our Graduates"After two months of tailoring training, I started making school uniforms for children in my village. I now earn more than I ever did doing casual labour, and I can afford to pay my own children's school fees. KAKAF showed me I could build a future."— Fatuma K., Tailoring Graduate, Mpigi District 2024
